red door media client, Sculptor Neal Personeus credits social media marketing with creating the opportunity that resulted in two of his sculptures "Yeah, but the View" and "Wolfe's Fish" being exhibited during "The Elements" Exhibit Show at Warwick Museum of Art in RI starting August 3 and running through August 31. The Opening Reception will be held Friday, August 12th 7 -9pm which is open to the public.

Donna Personeus, Founder & President of Red Door Media & Production has
been invited to return as a guest lecturer in two Johnson & Wales University
e-commerce classes this coming spring semester. Ms. Personeus will be 
bringing real world social media projects for current clients into the classroom. Three student social media campaign plans per class will be choosen from the group presentation for Red Door to implement. Metrics from the implemented campaigns will be collected and reviewed with one winning campaign honored per class. 
 
February 4, 2011. Jamiel's Shoe World kicked off their YouTube Channel with the help of Dr. Wilkinson's Johnson & Wales University e-commerce class and Red Door Media & Production. "This student assignment/contest brings the real world of marketing and use of social media directly into the classroom and is a great opportunity for the students. I was thrilled when I approached my client and he was interested in participating in the project" said Donna Personeus of Red Door. A social media campaign created by Red Door is currently being implemented to get out the vote to help choose the three winners.  Viewers of the student videos are being asked to vote for their favorites and provide feedback for the students. "Your vote matters, your comments matter. Our hope is to provide an excellent experience for the JWU students," stated Francis Jamiel, owner of Jamiel's Shoe World. "We were thrilled to be involved." Artist, Neal Personeus of CapeScapes credits Red Door Media & Production with the "by invitation only" invitation he has received to showcase his sculptures in the first ever Fine Arts area within 2011 RI Home Show.  Neal reports he received the opportunity through his facebook fan page "Capescapes: Dreams in Driftwood" created by Red Door. Red Door developed marketing tools for CapeScapes which included: a Web Site http://www.capescapes.weebly.com
and social media pages: facebook  (CapeScapes: Dreams in Driftwood), twitter (@capescapesUSA), linkedin, and a wordpress blog. The social media plan was developed to slowly and steadily introduce Neal's artwork to the public so not to overwhelm him. He never imagined this type of opportunity would present itself so soon into his marketing efforts. The RI Home Show will give his artwork exposure to thousands of people. One more success story for social media.
 
Red Door Media client, Jamiel's Shoe World, contacted us in August of 2010. Owner, Francis Jamiel was thinking of using social media to help increase business but didn't know where or how to start. That's were we came in, developing a strategic social media plan for the retail business and implementing it in slow yet steady stages so not to overwhelm them. Three month later, Francis smiled broadly has he reported today a 750% increase in sales (vs. an average weekend sale day) during the one day Dansko Trunk Show event. "I owe this to red door and social media, that was the difference. Donna's my angel!" The event advertising campaign we developed within the social media plan was extremely cost effective. It consisted of social media & eblasts along with a very small ad in the local tri-town paper the day before the event. The result: a great return on our client's investment.
 
Ms. Personeus, founder of red door media & productions guest lectured within an e-commerce class November 1, 2010 at Johnson & Wales University. She provided a social media workshop outlining a current client's social media plan. She explained the strategy from phase one of the planning to current phase in which the project currently stands. She has been asked to return to JWU next term to present a two-part social media workshop.
